Mobile Assisting Business: Launch Your Own Now

When I started my dental mobile assisting business, I knew the journey would be tough and filled with sacrifices. The road ahead seemed uncertain, and I understood that it would take time, effort, and a great deal of perseverance to succeed. I was prepared for the challenges that would come my way, but I was also driven by the passion to provide quality mobile dental care to those in need. From the very beginning, I made the decision to work through obstacles, learning from every mistake and adapting to new situations. There were moments of doubt, but the desire to make a difference kept me going. Today, I look back at the hurdles as valuable lessons, shaping me into a stronger entrepreneur. The journey has been difficult, but it has been worth every bit of effort.

As I predicted, my journey was very difficult. But I would still choose this business even if I knew that I would face a lot of challenges.

But knowing what I know now, I would have chosen a different way to start the business. I am going to share with you what I could have done differently so that you don’t make the same mistakes that I did when starting a mobile assisting business. From the initial planning stages to customer service strategies, there are key decisions that can make or break your success in this field. Whether it’s understanding the market or setting up the right systems, getting these aspects right from the start can save you a lot of time and frustration. I’ll walk you through what I learned and how you can use that knowledge to launch and grow your own mobile assisting business more effectively.

Move Slowly

I wish I could have moved a little slower in the beginning and taken more time to grow. Because I was in a hurry, I paid a lot of interest that I didn’t have to pay.

If I had moved slower, I would have made wiser financial decisions. For example, I would have chosen other options when it came to supplies for my mobile assisting business and I would have researched more for financing to ensure long-term success

While you might want to open your business right now, it might pay to take your time.

MOBILE ASSISTING BUSINESS

Keep Trying Until Someone Says “Yes”

When we first started our mobile dental assisting business, I went to very many nursing homes in Florida and everyone kept telling me “no”.

I couldn’t get a “yes” in Florida. So, I went to Georgia and I got one “yes”. I started operating there and I have been growing in Georgia.

I live in Florida, but I drive to Georgia every day to work. So, to me, no is not a no. It just means I have to go another way.

If someone tells you, “no”, do not quit. Sometimes, “no” means that you need to take a new direction.

Surround Yourself with the Right Team

One of my strongest influences is my husband. He is a great influence in my life. When I met him, his name was Mr. PMA – Mr. Positive mental attitude.

His stance in life was so strong and his attitude was so strong that it influenced me to have a shift of attitude.

His level of expectation is so high for me. But I rise to that bar because he just makes me a better person. And this has improved my business.

The other big influence in my life is Dr. Leroy Polite, an experienced entrepreneur and owner of Economy Dentures.  Dr polite was  a mentor who encouraged me to further my education, gain experience and open my businesses.

MOBILE ASSISTING BUSINESS

Navigating Challenges

While my Mobile Assisting Business has grown tremendously, I still face challenges. The biggest challenge I face as an entrepreneur is getting good employees. This could be because I’ve set the bar so high.

But as an entrepreneur, my business is like a child- you see it birth and you watch it grow. So, you can’t trust that with anyone.

When I started, the biggest challenge was that I did not know where to begin. For the most part, I just kept trying until I got it right. You don’t have to go through this process.

I can help set up your mobile dentist clinic. schedule a consultation with me on a day and time that is convenient for you. You can read more about geriatric and mobile dentistry on my book The Tooth and Nothing But the Truth.

I’ve also planned a mobile dental workshop starting November 8, 2021  that will empower you to take the bold step of starting your mobile dental business.

In conclusion, starting a mobile assisting business, especially in the dental field, comes with its fair share of challenges and sacrifices. However, these experiences also offer invaluable lessons that can help others avoid the same pitfalls. Moving at the right pace, not getting discouraged by rejections, and surrounding yourself with the right support system are all crucial for long-term success. Even though I faced difficulties, I have learned the importance of making wise financial decisions, keeping a positive mindset, and continuously pushing forward. With the right approach, anyone can launch and grow their own mobile assisting business effectively. If you’re ready to take the leap, I’m here to help you get started with consultations, workshops, and valuable resources. By learning from my journey, you can avoid common mistakes and set yourself up for success in this rewarding field.
